Bushido Academy of Martial Arts

My name is Sensei Andy Jenkins. I am a BAMA world governing body qualified instructor. I have been studying Martial Arts as a private student of Grand Master Chusan since 1990 and am a qualified expert in Karate, Sword and Aikido.

The art of teaching requires very different skills to that of a Martial Artist. Frustrated by the poor results of the traditional methods of teaching martial arts the B.A.M.A has developed and refined it's methods in order to deliver only the highest quality education. Thus through it's dual focus of developing excellence in Martial Arts skills and the ability to communicate the depth of their understanding.

Being an expert martial artist does not guarantee being an expert instructor, these tasks require different skills. I am a fully certified and licensed instructor of the B.A.M.A. World Governing Body. The B.A.M.A. requires its instructors to undergo rigorous re–evaluation of both technical knowledge and teaching ability on a regular basis.
I am a full time professional instructor and therefore able to dedicate more time and energy into this amazing subject. This also means I am able to teach daytimes as well as evenings (this is not just a part time job!).
